How come rappers can say Nigger and no-one says a word about it, but as soon as clarkson mumbles it on something that was never aired on TV and the world screams racist!
I've heard the rhyme with nigger in it from grand parents it's just from that age, eg.. Golly wogs which are now deemed racist.. All bollocks if you ask me

The grovelling apology does seem out of character. I imagine it's highly likely the apology has been issued due to pressure put on him from the BBC. If he's seen to ignore it then people would be putting a lot of pressure on the BBC to fire him, which I doubt they want to do.

It is only racist if the context in which it is used has racist connotations, no one in here is going to hell/prison/suffer any kind of consequence for using the actual word 'nigger' as the context is a topic of conversation about the use of the word!! can we stop with all the 'N word' bollocks and just say 'Nigger'?!
