Handy to have (a proper air rifle, not the toys you posted) for when a bird keeps shitting on your car / making noises.

Not too bad. I pay about a fiver for 25 cartridges and 25p per clay. 25quid for a round of 50 isn't too bad

Yeah, 1300 quid in that though so expensive to get set up.

Still cheaper than golf!

They can't be over a certain power in pistol form. Think they are about half the power of a rifle. Over 900fps on my tx200hc.

Yeah. The air rifles start at about 630fps,this is 560 so not a million miles off. It puts a pellet through 12mm mdf

What's the legality Steve? I've got a kind of cheap Gamo CO2 pistol I always think is a bit jailbait to take out.

It's OK, but if you're carrying it around or have it in a car it needs to be covered

Do it need to get permission and use private land or will I get away with going up to a local field and setting up targets?

I've got a Tokyo Marui Revolver air soft pistol and a CYMA M14 Rifle, with the former being 100x better built. The latter is in the shop getting a new barrel, hop up, spring, and motor, but will be limited to 350FPS due to restrictions at my local two airsoft places. But will be extremely accurate. How much did your pistol with the red dot etc cost Steve?
My red dot alone was 90 quid Will get pics when they are both back from the shop. I dare say Ollie has a few handy guns from his airsoft times.

In the car it does. Even with a case you must have a very good excuse to have it in a vehicle. Saying you're away to shoot it in the fields is not, as that's illegal without permission of the land owner.

Not too bad, but for that price I can't imagine it'll last long.
I'm surprised that you wouldn't set about upgrading your BB gun seeing as you're a tinkerer. Loads of things you could do to extend the range, accuracy and increase the rate of fire.

All reviews iv read and watched have been positive including build quality. It's Gamo which iv read is fairly good. Most of the gun is metal.

Time will tell!
