The Killing, season 1 - 8/10
Great suspense/chrime series. American remake of a Danish TV-show.
Seen two first episodes of season 2 and it's shaping up to be great as well.

True Detective - 10/10
Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. One of the best shows I've ever seen. Can't recommend it enough.
Heard people say it starts out slow, but I didn't find that to be the case, was hooked from first minute.
For those not in the know, it's written, filmed directed and produced like a film in stead of like a TV show, and it really shows. Feels much more like one continues story than any other show I've watched.
Season 2 is on its way with completely new cast and story.

I really struggled with True Detective. It was ok, but I wasn't blown away with it like I thought I would be.
Hannibal hasn't been mentioned, I don't think. Started well, then they got granted a second season and seemed to convolute the story a bit.
The second season goes very psychological and has a lot of metaphorical fantasy sections which bored me, I stuck with it though. Probably 6/10 overall

They were showing them all on pick a while ago iirc
They used to cut quite a lot out and miss whole episodes depending on the rating though
They did the same on Sky Atlantic as well, had them all from the beginning, but missed a lot of the better ones I remembered from being a kid. As I said, (but didn't quote) It's on H2(531?) at 11 every night (iirc)

The Shield. Watched it over about 5 or 6 weeks. Absolutely brilliant, far better than The Wire, and I daresay, better than 24.

Better than the wire? Really? That is one of the best shoes I've ever seen. I watched the pilot and found it pretty sore tbh. Tough guy, misogynistic, talks back to the chief etc... What makes it good? Does it get better?

I thought exactly the same when I first started watching the The Shield but it does get significantly better as it progresses, still not a patch on The Wire though in my opinion

Seen first season of Shield long ago and agree that it starts out on a mediocre note, but ends up being pretty great.
Been meaning to watch the rest at some point.

Does any one know if you are able to get the US netflix content on PS3? Any pointers would be handy?

Just finished walking the dead (seasons that are available). Enjoyed the 'survival instinct' and how the issues that may occur in a zombie apocolypse maybe with fellow survivors as opposed to the zombie's. Just got a bit 'samey' and predictable towards the end.

Unblock-us.com is pretty much all you need. Well worth it too.
Use http://www.netflixaroundtheworld.com to see which shows and movies are available in each country and just change your location accordingly.
Some shows might be in several countries, but with different numbers of seasons, so you'll have to check that manually.
Canada often has the most seasons, for some weird reason.

just watched the first episode to 'Forever' and quite enjoyed it.
Has a strong feeling of Elementary to it.
Trailers didn't do it justice.

Boardwalk Empire: 7/10 - I enjoyed this more than the score suggests, but too many things detracted from Gina score. I am not sure if it was the editing or storyboards but it seemed as though the story was too slow moving or vague.
Some performances where amazing, notably the chap that plays the Prohibition agent and the chap with 50% face.
Currently on season 5 of the wire: sooooo goooood.
