Owen's goal against Argentina, was a tad more important than Rooney's goal against Arsenal, plus Owen's goal was one of the best goal I have seen scored!!!

Since owen scored against argentina he has scored dozens of important goals for club and country. The goal that made owen was when he was 17 and came on against wimbledon and scored on his debut.

Rooney is way over rated, like many other youngens. i.e. joe cole wonder kid, yea he got skills but they only good for showboating not a great player in my eyes.
