Ah shame
No, STILL never been Gav (just like Le Mans, Goodwood Revival, Glastonbury and the Nurburgring). Was supposed to go last year, but we left it too bloody late and it sold out
My pal PROMISED, faithfully we'd not miss it this year. Wanted to do the Sunday. Fucker's going to a wedding ffs
That's why he had to sort the Dunsfold tickets and pay up front

I'll be watching her at Dunsfold in August.
Wanted to do RIAT this year, but it's pretty dear, plus my only aircraft-dork/nerd mate is at a wedding or some shite that weekend.
Simultaneously looking forward to it and dreading it in equal amounts.
Seen her twice before, once at Goodwood about four or five years ago and then a lifetime prior to that when I was about 9, at Biggin Hill, where she was pulling off some pretty amazing low level aerobatics with huge G turns and pulling the nose up at the last possible minute over the crowd.
I'll never forget the noise!
What date is RIAT?
Went down to southend airport on sunday to watch her fly over the one kept there.
My fave aircraft from southend airshow as a kid. Used to do low fast fly pasts on the casino. Was epic and so loud. Could feel it in your chest. Used to make my two year old brother cry
17-19 of next month Gav.
You can REALLY feel it in your chest. Used to fascinate me as a child that a plane could do that to you
Indeed. Must have had differnt restrictions back then as they had alot more of a dont give a monkeys attitude and buzz the fuck out of the seafront and then bank out to see on full throttle
Used to love the sepecat jaguars too. They dont fly anymore do they?

They are beginning the clearing out of their warehouse next door to my work today, couple of big wagons clearing the mass of green NATO coded boxes of original NOS parts they have there, shame to see.
