I'm always amused by folks having such an allegedly hard time of it, mostly stationary, in loose cotton shirts etc, in offices with ventilation and insulation, when it's like this.

A windowless, brick or concrete workshop, with a metal roof, no insulation and performing manual tasks on dirty, very hot metal things in overalls etc is simply awful and usually quite miserable by comparison.

Make the most of your pleasant work environment you lucky, lucky people

What the actual fuck!?

What kind of work do you do?

Fucking boarded up windows...

I work in Sales , my boss is 63 and loosing his marbles. It is quite entertaining to wind him up and watch him go crackers whilst not actually being able to remember what he is angry about

excatly i just sit really still and do things slowly and don't notice the heat.

The worst time of year is when they cut the crops down and we get invaded by those little thunderbugs/thrips. We have about 2m from the office to the field.

Of course, just sick of hearing about it.

Everywhere I go, people are stating the obvious "it's hot today" no shit, I can feel temperature...
News "hottest day since bla bla" who cares? When the last hot day was, it's hot. Yes. Move on

For the last couple years we have been looking at installing a split air-con in a couple rooms. Getting very temping now as sleeping in 25 degrees is not nice

I don't get it.

People constantly hear about hot weather and say "ahh I wish I was there" I've always said I think that's too hot, if rather be here.

Then gets hot here and everybody moans and acts like the world is ending

It's probably the whole doing bugger all by a pool with a cold drink in dry heat, versus working your knackers off in sweaty clothes in humid heat principle Gen.

I'm done working for the day, think it hit 32, had a minor thunderstorm that if possible, was more than 100% humidity 38 degrees when I got in the car to go home.

Now a nice 20ish in the house - Beer time
