That may have actually been me, was done for an event at Brands Hatch a few weekends ago.

Same happened to a mate a few years back. Bought a mk2 Astra and was followed down the high st by a traffic car. Next thing he knew out of nowhere another 3 traffic cars and an armed response car blocked him in. The car had a drugs marker on it from a previous owner. He shat bricks.

When I was selling my recovery truck a few months ago , I got a court summons for it being in a accident , someone had copied my plates and were driving round on them , luckily for me mine was parked under cctv and I was in work so could prove it wasn't me

Other than my project thread, this is the most interaction I've had from CS on a thread - feel like I'm getting my moneys worth, even if it is bull****!!

UPDATE: Kent Police have been in touch again and its been passed on to the Vehicle Intelligence Unit and Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate. Tbh I already have the proof that it's not me and if anything else comes of it I can just show them the proof, but at the same time part of me wants the arsehole caught and prosecuted purely because he put my name on such a shit heap!!
