If your customers don't realise a 'key feature' about the car, which makes it heavier, more expensive, smaller load spacer, worse economy and emissions, etc then the customers won't miss the feature. Makes perfect sense. BMW used to make cars for people who enjoyed driving, now the majority of the customers want one just for the badge.
The people who enjoy driving are now switching to Jags

I absolutely detest understeer that and wheelspinning to fuckery away from a set of traffic lights were by far the only 2 things I hates about my focus st.

RWD is evident at 5mph or higher when you have to turn the wheel. It feels natural, and is a far far better system than FWD.
I don't mind FWD cars, and I will be buying another, because its cheap. No other reason.
Whilst I agree, having nearly bought a Mini, they drive like a BMW, just FWD. People who don't know they have a RWD car and are uninterested in a vehicle that drives properly need to buy an Audi.

O yea, small fwd cars can be a hoot to drive.
As a general rule I just find rwd (or even 4wd) more involving. I say general rule as you get exceptions at each end

I can honesty say the only rwd car I've driven was my mates mapped 530d last week. Was pissing down so didn't give it the beans in case I stuffed it
Wouldn't mind a proper go in a quick rwd car. VXR8 wouldn't be a bad way to start

OK so i'm not a BMW fan anyway (mostly coz they are 90% driven by absolute tosser that have no consideration for other road users, mind I said mostly) but is it me or are they all starting to look very samey, not just BMW but the superior brands like Mercedes and Audi, very samey headlights/grills/ basically front ends and rear lights?
Thing is these days people still go for the big names 'COZ ITHS BMW' but look at the interior of most modern cars, they're all the fucking same boring pieces of shit with different engines and styling (that mid dash screen is very fucking comon)

That 2 Series Gran Coupe / GT or what ever it I'd called is wank.
Far too "mainstream" for a BMW.
The 2 Series as should be I.E. Old 1 Series Coupe is lush.
Only of my favourites at the moment is the 5 door 4 series. Think that's the Gran Coupe. Basically 3 series with a hatchback.

Basically the 3-series GT.
4-series GC is the 5-door version of the 2-door version of the 4-door 3-series.
3-series GT is the 5-door version of the 4-door 3-series.
