How on earth did he eject? I didn't even see him. Shocking footage.
It's getting a bit too common now. Safety laws need to be put in place for stuff like this where clearly the pilot is 100% at fault.
I can actually see him getting manslaughter charges brought against him.

If he survives that is. He's critical at the minute I believe.

Is it not obvious he hadn't reached the correct altitude to perform the loop? I saw a carbon copy version of that on one of those 'most shocking videos' programmes a little while back. Pilot error.

Pilot error is an accident though isn't it, anyone could easily think they're at the correct altitude and misjudge it.
It's not like driving a car either these planes are at high speed and massive g-force that can have strange affects on the body.
Not being a fighter pilot though I can't call myself qualified to judge about how clear or not clear it's his fault

You crash your car and accidentally kill 7 people, you'll still get done for manslaughter

Not if it was purely an accident and you were driving correctly etc

Clearly I'm not an expert, but judging by the video it kind of looks like he cocked the manoeuvre and completely misjudged the timing? Obviously I could be wrong. Still, been far too many incidents like this in the last few years. Very sad.

Another forum I post on has some users saying they've read something in which some experts are saying that an engine stall looks likely

Either mechanical or human error its terrible, 7 people lost there life and didnt even see it coming.
wrong place at the wrong time has never been a truer word
All we ever seem to see lately is air show crashes from around the globe.

There's another video took by a spectator on YouTube with full sound, engine certainly didn't cut out, can hear the jet engine going up until the impact with the road. I'd agree with timing error as it was one hell of a big loop the loop and just before it hits the road it looks like he's desperately trying to pull it back up

An aircraft stall isn't to do with the running of the engine. It's when the planes reaches an angle where it can not produce enough thrust to maintain lift.
In this case of the plane stalled on the upclimb it would explain why it didn't get the required height to clear the ground

Oh I thought it was like an actual engine cut out, remember seeing them little propellor planes at air shows stalling the engine then dropping out the sky spinning out of control then cutting the engine back in last min and flying off again lol.

Not yet he hasn't, the trial is ongoing, i expect he will as he shouldn't have been behind the wheel of a heavy commercial vehicle with his condition.

I cannot even begin to comprehend how he managed to be pulled out alive. Unbelievable.

There's a good video on YouTube from a different angle. 100% he didn't eject, I doubt he even realised it was going wrong until about 3sdconds before it hit the floor. If he was 15ft higher up he might have just buzzed the road. Very close.
By the looks of it he would have been catapulted forward in the cockpit, surprising to think he is still alive but not inconceivable.
See if I can get the link
