That's brave Andy! I made it very clear to my buyer that if the cash hadn't transferred, he wasn't leaving with the car and had to wait until it had. He understood, and even priced up hotels just in case (came from Hull to Bristol for the S2000). However, all went through as expected and he left within an hour of arriving.

He'd used my laptop to do it and I'd watched him do it, and leave his account. Just wasn't showing in mine so assumed it would be OK thankfully it was. Don't think I'd do it again without waiting lol.

I once tried to transfer 17k and wasn't able to do it in one transaction. Had to do 9k for that day and 8k for the day after.

You mean dinner?
Tea is a hot beverage, usually drank with boscuits. Preferably milk chocolate digestives.

quote: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dinner
In many modern usages, the term dinner refers to the evening meal, which is now often the most significant meal of the day in English-speaking cultures. When this meaning is used, the preceding meals are usually referred to as breakfast, lunch and tea. In some areas, the tradition of using dinner to mean the most important meal of the day regardless of time of day leads to a variable name for meals depending on the combination of their size and the time of day, while in others meal names are fixed based on the time they are consumed.
The divide between different meanings of "dinner" is not cut-and-dried based on either geography or socioeconomic class. However, the use of the term dinner for the midday meal is strongest among working-class people, especially in the English Midlands, North of England and the central belt of Scotland.

I bought a car a couple of weeks ago and it was the first time I didn't buy with cash!
She seemed a very trustworthy girl so after an initial Ł200 deposit, I sent the remaining Ł2,600 via transfer just before I left to collect the car (was a 1hr 45min drive) so was in her account when I got there and away I went
