Done it, well almost done it. I said it would only take 10 mins.
Those other items you mentioned, I don't have replacements for 'em yet so can't sell 'em.

Too bright to take a decent pic at the moment.
I don't like the cut out in the surround, I've either got to lose the trip reset button or put the hole through the surround. Hmmm, dunno what to do...

Its not the whole gear knob, just the plasic badge out of the centre. If you get a flat blade screw driver and gently push it down the side of your standard one, you can flick it out . Was actuall out of a Vectra in the end, as the bloke couldnt find it in the Astra section of the EPC Cd .
Anyway, to make it easier for you the part number is 9138146. Cost me £8.64 inc. VAT. Quite expensive for what it is, but still cheaper than a new Gear knob, and can easily be put back to standard .

I paid £50 for the Irmscher gear knob!
If I wanted to buy new gaiter surrounds for gear knob and handbrake, do I have to take the gear knob off or does it fit over it? I glued my gear knob together.

errr i think it will have to come off! you can cut the old one up to get it off, but some new gaiters are velcro'd at the top so it may be able to get over it

Fuck! Whats that look like. As for the gators, it depends how they've been made. Im hoping that they have a pull string at the top to tighten them up, as i dont want to remove my current gear knob, hence the reason i bought the insert
