This is true, but the engine still isnt going to be able to turn the wheels as fast, especially at high speeds, so your still going to loose speed. If you have a car that'll bounce of the limiter in fifth, and put bigger wheels on that, then that'll have a higer top speed. Providing of course, it'll still bounce off the limiter.

I've had 117 mph on the clocks in my sxi on 15's... (videotaped) ... though I know about inacuracys and shit and know its nothing near this.

I was still well chuffed - oh also it was on a slight downhill slope

faster top speed in theory but the engine wont be able to turn the rolling radius into a better top speed

I've Had 14/16 and 17" on my 1.6 sport and never really noticed any diff in acceleration
and top end..

Will probs be different in a 1.2 though...
