17's on a corsa handle crap... please... Your altering the cars physical setup beyond recommendation by doing so. The power loss is a joke. leave 15's on it... low to the ground, center of gravity improved for handling.
I will never understand why people insist on big wheels on a corsa

Very true, although when ive near finished mine, ill have 16s on but for shows i think im gunna get some mahoosive 19s or 20s for it with a huge drop!!
I dont think i could hack driving around with 17+ wheels all the time!

i think the sterring gets lighter with 17s cause the camber is out, so less of the rubber is touching the ground? compared to 15s

aye, no offense tho mate, but im talking like in terms of applying power in a corner on 17's is alot worse off than on some 15's...

IMO 17"s arent BIG wheels. anything bigger, where arch rolling/cutting and all that bollox is out of the question. 17"s fit fine on a corsa, the rate of speed of turn is not as fast, but im more happy with 7" of rubber takin me round corners than 5/6"
I agree the bigger wheels are going to destroy handling because u only have to look how high they make the car off the floor. I had my car lowered on 14"s and the handling was shit. 17"s better by a million miles, more stable steering has more feedback, anything smaller was too light.
If youre a power nit and you want every hundredth of a second out of your car then fine, fit small wheels. But i prefer my cars with filled arches, not wheels big enough to use on a tractor mind, just ones that fill the arches and look proportioned.
And ill say again. 17"s dont make your car handle crap.

I can agree with some of that. However I have driven corsa's on 14's to 17's and the 15's 195 was by far the best... 16's not much diff... but small power loss... 17's were just a joke... cornering didnt feel completely safe as 15's ...

Powerloss aye, but then that can be held to your advantage with bigger power and keeping rubber stuck to road.
Ive always felt 100% safe with my17"s, id have to say that tyre choice is impeccable too!
I had flakens and i thought my car handled shit, now ZZ3s and my god there amazing.
