Again, what is the point in having a 2.0litre 16v on Throttle Bodies putting out a ncie 190bhp, then putting filler and fibreglass and 19"s on it.

it was going to show what desmonds "body shop" could do if you have the cash and the immagination also

its an ALL ROUND show car, yes the kit makes it get HIS BUSINESS attention. If it looked like AKs then nobody would take a second look at it, but hes gone one further then most other kitted up cars, making it stand out

most "show cars" are demo cars, they last for a year or so, cost naff all to build (free labour, cheap parts), get 6 - 7- 8 page features in magazines, and build up a reputation for 5+ years afterwards

name me another type of advertising which is more cost effective than this?

at the end of the day its not a car, its a form of advertising.

just my 2ps worth

2.0litre, bodykit, and small wheels

Dont need to ahve big wheels to make a car look good

Oh i agree, demo cars have to be mad, but he took a perfectly lovley car, and ruined it

And its not even gonna be demonstrating his company now anyway.

Tell u what desmond, i'll swap my engine + £200 for yours plus i'll swap the braks for mine plus another £100

agreed about ruining a nice car to start off with - previouse owner must be gutted

if he would have started from fresh then it would be ok for him and his "body shop"

2.0litre 16v on TB, LSD, lighweight 16" alloys, Brembo brakes up front,r ear discs, Stieny Skirts n front lower lip, stripped out, two bucket seats, roll cage, morrettes etc.

Was a lovley car, subtle steiny bodykit, and a fast as feck motor.

I wanted to buy it after Andy Braceys car fell through. Need a bit of work doing to it (i.e new gearbox). But i couldn't find his number, only an old number in the back of an old car mag Was gutted

personally doupt any1 will buy desmonds car

15k he had in it, plus 15k b4 he bought it = one high price tag 4 a corsa

only people whod want it will be bodyshops (but it wont be there work)

people who want the looks of it will be to young to get insured on it

people who want the engine will not want 19s and a boy racer fiberglass car

people who want both are hard to find

id say it will get stripped down.

dont know what u can do with the rear 1.4 tho - will be more cost effective to scrap the car then to weld new ones in, respray and sell it

might aswell sell the 19's, strip the engine, brakes, suspension, seats, cage etc and transfer them onto a bas model corsa, Lucky B style.

No way he's gonna sell it unfinished like that.

nice to see that yet again people are talking shit about stuff they THINK they know

daimo your car is very nice but wake up if u think its worth anything near wot this car is worth

for starters its worth more than all of you think. ive seen the receipts folder and fcuk me has it got some money in it!!!

front brakes are 1k
wheels 1k+
2l 16v with weber alpha tb's + engine management +bottom bolts uprated
full btb exhaust system
full custom made coilovers that go down 120mm. he got them for 800 quid and that was at cost price from h&r
rear disk conversion
impreza STI 5 alcantara seats
206 rear light conversion
smooth boot
dehandled doors
badboy bonnet with vent smoothed in
bmw m3 wings welded and smoothed in.you have to see these in the flesh to appreciate them properly

and thats only the main mods

every time a car comes out with big wheels and a small engine(eg uv's latest car) everyone moans about how it wont move. but as soon as someone puts a decent engine in a big wheeled corsa you all continue to moan

just u lot wait til its ready
