expensive to run in and around town but absolutely excellant motorway cars and performance wise can be easily tuned to over 200 bhp with a few mods although will be seen through torque rather than 0-60 times as a big heavy car. i purely love the sound of the v6 and i love big cars thats why i chose it. i put a tenner a week in and hardly go anywhere where as setH had a sri and had to sell due to high running costs.
yes vectras do depreciate rather quickly but engine wise run forever although parts can be quite painful on the wallet.
u either like them or u dont its the same with anything
oh and insurance wise i pay £600 fully comp with protected no claims

not bad m8 i used to have a 2.5 gsi bolted a k&n induction kit on it,full magnex cat back and took it up to nearly 200bhp.pricey bits though £360 for a cambelt change and a days job £120 for the spark plugs to be done coz you have to take the induction system off apart from that they are sweet.spend another grand and get the gsi they hold there money beter and you get irmscher kit and 17" rims as standard and dont forget the leccy recaros
