oh right get ya. But un-restricted the 16XE would be pulling 150bhp no problem. Kind of overshadows the VTS/GTi engine.

mods on a 16XE to 150? we're talking a few mods there...

few mods on a 106gti engine and you can have 170hp before needing to get into TD territory... gimme 1 year

When Vauxhall were testing the C/X16XE engine, they got a reliable 155bhp from it. They couldnt have it overshadowing the C20XE so they strangled the life out of it. Thats why 200+bhp is so easily attainable and safe when fitting TB's etc.

I have never seen a VTS, Punto or Corsa 2.0 round a track. I cannot comment.

Punto Turbo's (or all punto's for this matter) do not handle... I am scared in them

2 litre corsa's not as bad... but im sure the weight on the 20xe in the front will have some side effects... 1.6 engine is perfect for an all round car

Hence why it will be a bad idea for the Corsa C GSi to be fitted with the 2.0T rather than an all new 1.6T
