Depends where u go, really if uve got or can get a forklift licence then it the moneys ok, last warehouse i was in was 12k a year got all me licences for the trucks, on 20k now working at the walkers crisps depot, nights tho

i know ur reffering to clothes shops but i worked in retail for 2yrs and it was bloody hard work for shit pay. I worked in a shoe shop got 25% off shoes which was quality but only got paid £2.75 and hour for workin my ass off.

I used to think £5 was ok till my g/f made me ill tellin me how much she was on workin in southend. she got 7.50 and hour workin as a sales asistant in a clothes shop and after that did waitressing for £7 an hour. I work in bluewater and get an ok wage but thats only cos i been at my job for ages mind.

i work in the jd sports megastore in bromley. ive been there over a year now, and omg, what a shit company! i get £4.61 an hour, started on £4.52 but got a 9p payrise (same as every1 else) at end of finantial year! dont get bonuses, AT ALL. no double pay etc on sundays! although ther is double pay on bank holidays, but ul b lucky if they give u any hours! we have got through 6 managers in the last year, last 1 lasted a week!
worst company ever but i cnt b arsed 2 find another job, i just stand around on the shop floor pretending to sell trainers!

i work 8 - 5 and get £1.04 an hour mon/fri
im a skillseeker its good training though and chance of a full time job at the end with a starting wage of 18k which is ok when your 17 i suppose
