i had the ring blue ones, and 1 of them blew in the first week, but that could be just my prob. so i went for these instead as they are £24 and free recorded delivery. I'll try getting some better pics. but i dont think you can get close to hid with aftermarket bulbs.

to be honest the ring ones are cack, when the right one blew i replaced it with a standard 1 and from the front there seemed to be hardly any difference. but with the krypton ones i got in now they are 90/100w instead of the 60w standard. and they do give a more blue/white effect light. i think the gases in these bulbs also keep it cooler some how. they are available in purple and green light tint 2! try some! H4 size!!!

i have bulbs which are ice blue and u can see the blue in them but the power rating is just the same as standard headlights. 55W or 60W i think. i got them off ebay for £7 in auction. the same ones retail in halfords for 25 a pair. i think they look good and u can see the blue in them but they are no more powerful than standard but the blue/white light makes a difference. Hope that helps anyway

Are you sure my Corsa C SXi hasn't already got Zenon bulbs, as my mates vectra has got the same bulbs as the pic in the first post (Zenon 30% brighter), and when I turn his lights on and mine, they look the same, ie.... mine dont have a yellowy colour (that make sence)??
Or do I still definately need to upgrade them??

When the Facelift corsa comes out will the lights not be able to be swapped? Looked like HID ones in the pictures i've seen.

yeah but ive had them for 4 years and never had a single problem with them. as for the eggs, just get some silver paint and spray them, dads done this on his a4, and they only dim very slightly, much better than paying like £18 for 2
