I used to have a black Lab, its the eyes that get ya every time, i miss my dog she was 13 when she was put down, poor thing

When I lived at home we had a chocolate lab called Penny. She was tops. Pedigree too. She had fits from an early age. The vet said they were quite common in Chocolate labs. It was horrible to watch her have one. Couldnt do anything. She'd just collapse on the floor and shake. You could see her eyes clouded up too. Hated it Vet said that if they wewrent treated, one day she would have a fit and not come out of it!! She was put on tablets to control the fits, but they affected her liver (vet said this would happen) Think she was only six and she had to be put down. She stopped eating, lost loads of weight, wouldnt go out. It was a sad time, but for the best.
Labs are gorgeous dogs. Affectionate, loyal and very inteligent. Funny too.
Was out walking her one day and this bloke stopped and patted her and said 'is that a chocolate labrador?' to which I replied 'no, its a real one'
She's in doggy heaven now having a whale of a time
