While we r on the subject of 1.2 16v airboxes, I was wondering what every1 elses standard airbox sounds like.
Mine is completely standard, but whenever I depress the throttle more than 1/4 travel, it whistles loudly. I have heard other non standard cars do it but not this loud. You can hear it from inside the car with the windows up!
Oh yeah, mine is a C Sxi like noonsters.

On this pic, how come the black pipe on the bottom right of the BFO cone is not conected to anything now, like it is as standard?? Guess this pipe aint important, so why keep any of it on?? (I know nothing about cars )

Dont really wanna drill my airbox, thinking about getting a PVD Panel Filter to go with the BFO cone..... is that a good Idea?? Or are they better Filters out, for a similar price??
LOADS of questions today, Just like to get the facts before I buy things

hes using it as an airfeed... the problem with these cars i think is that it produces way too much heat and you'll get flat spots, if you're getting one, relocate all the airfeeds. get as many of them in. youll struggle becasue there isnt much space but if you dont...

you can't have both panel and cone on at the same time???
arent the pvd ones made by the same company as bfo anyway?

the cone replaces the whole airbox.. therfore you wont have an airbox to put the panel filter in
you can put it on your lap as you drive around if you want

this is why i use twister, dont know anything else about other filters for sure, just put it in and thats it, no ....
but then again is it worth to buy in 1.2...?

i think that the majority of people wanting airfilters is more for the sound... the green twister is useful if you're car needs it.

yes, after all its 1.2 *just 3,5kw in my car*so airfilter dont make any serious difference, if you are after the sound, will get better sound with bfo...

That explains why he hasnt got an air filter I can be so thick sometimes....
SO..... Should I just get a panel filter or get the BFO cone?? Panel Filter looks like the cheaper/easier option.
