Sorry, my point was that if i was to add a new inlet manifold, straight through system and other bits, i could have taken the ST170, just. I can see the 2.0's obliterating these.

Loads Firstly though is small things like a new scuttle panel, and the panel underneath that. Its all cracked and in the rain the water comes down through the holes and into the dash onto my feet Wanna get the bonnet sorted, lourves, bumper re-sprayed then work on some shiny bits for the engine

That petrol addative work then? Heard good things about it!

I bet you would beat any focus with a 1.0 12v engine instead of your 1.6 16v, Dave!

15.8 - I think you'll find they are a LOT quicker than that.

212bhp, 0-60 6.4 1/5 mile 15.8, after all they are FWD?

The new Civic Type-R now matches the RS in the 0-60 sprint, and the rev limit has been lowered too!

the steering is now up to the standard of the RS/ST170, but i prefer the look of the old Civic TBH. The Focus RS is FWD. The soon TBA Focus Cosworth will be 4WD and over 300bhp. Will murder many cars on the road

no, clarkson commented on how it jerked from side to side on rutted roads because of the diff controlling the power. On smooth roads and motorways its great, but show it a dirt track, and it behaves like a rally car.
