Less time spent posting pictures of Audis the more time you'll have to get it painted!

Stayed late tonight and stripped the doors down
quite pleased with the condition of the car, the doors are mint with only the slightest corrosion starting to form in places.
wings and doors will be going to be acid dipped next week
little bit of corrosion hiding under the window trim on passenger rear wing but again only surface

door frames are in good condition too

Didnt have much time tonight so just got the rear bumper off and stripped down
and got the engine lid off and stripped down

bit of corrosion which i knew about but not beyond repair

engine tin wear has seen better days

ready for the acid bath

had a new engine cover at somepoint, possibly under warrenty for corrosion

just the roof lining, sunroof and scuttle to strip then its onto engine out

n/s rear wing has been painted three times and the o/s rear wing has been painted twice.
All panels excluding the engine cover are original too

just pulling down the old blue roof lining and thinking of maybe going for black alcantara for the roof lining, pillars, door card tops and dash top
what are your thoughts?

Just emailed my trimmer about doing this

but with black alcantara and grey stitching, possibly grey and red (to match calipers and eventually seat backs) on the dash top surround

hopefully he quotes me happy

Yellow stitching looks nice

or white

The red looks nice but it just doesn't seem to stand out like it should. I can't wait to see the pics of the finished car!
