Absolutely no grasp on reality, it's not exactly a specialist car is it.

Cool jokes lads.
Everyone is different and everyone has different ways of doing things and that's how I will go about selling it. Cheers.

For the record before it gets silly can I just say:
- I don't feel like I own the greatest car in the world.
- I'm not being arrogant or egotistical
- I have had interest from the mature Evo owner and that's the kind of person who would be interested given the price etc.

No grasp on reality? I'm selling my car to fund a mortgage and stop myself wasting any more money on renting property.

That's clearly not the bit I was talking about.
The fact you've now added that makes it even more ludicrous that you would only let it go to a 'good home'.
No matter how clean, it's an evo with a couple of bits added on, not something that there is only 1 of in the world.

OK, fair point and I respect what you're saying.
Look, I really don't to bicker with you on the internet anymore. I meant what I said and that's how I feel about it. You and everyone else think it's shit, I don't. That's about that really John.

Considering the MLR has been live for 10 years or so and my project is only 18 months old, I'd say that's pretty cool and makes me happy.

No sorry I meant the situation of "good home" not the car itself.

I refused to sell my corsa to a few people when I put it back to standard. All because I knew they wouldn't look after it.
It's like giving your pet dog to a local tramp instead of taking it to the RSPCA when you can't have it anymore. Kind of. You want to know something you have cared for wont be fucked up

TBH I can see Jay's point of view. I'd want mine to go to a good home if I sold it, but if someone came along offering the cash I wanted I'd sell it but I'd just prefer someone decent to buy it.
Some young chav bought my MPS, he ruined it.

Why spend years of your time and money modifying, maintining and cleaning a car as your pride and joy to then see it destroyed within a week?
Im sure any car enthusiast wouldnt want to see that.
Steve never drives his race car puma and keeps it under a cover ffs, he'd never sell it nevermind to a chav whos going to a actually drive it and even worse thrash it and prang it

I remember seeing a mint 2007 Impreza advertised under a breakers yard. When asked "what's wrong with it, where is crash damage, etc" the breakers just said "the previous owner couldn't bare the thought of it being driven by somebody else, so it's getting broken for parts"
WTF
I sort of see Jay's point here, though I'm sure it'll be priced at such a point where only a true enthusiast would go for it anyway.
