Me and my mates were out in Jacked up suzuki vitaras towing people who were stuck. Made a fair few pennies and got a few beers off a woman for towing her car to the top of a hill

What it was like near blackpool around 4pm in my parcel force van (21 drops taken back to depot due to adverse weather! )

Abandoned cars up rivington

Then i decided to jump into the snow...

Since my car has been int' garage since last saturday, I didn't get to go out for some fun last weekend.

Snow came down like a good un' last night though so went for a quick spin this morning.

Even when leaving the centre diff set to "auto" the back end still whips around pretty quickly when I come on the gas, but if I try to maintain any kind of sideways momentum the fronts just drag me out of it, it's annoyingly effective

I had a play with the manual diff settings, though I don't really understand it All I know is, rocking the switch all the way back makes my rears spin up like crazy, and I can keep a slide going as long as I've got the space for it; locking it forward makes all four spin up seemingly at a consistent rate which I guess is the safest way of driving on snow if I didn't want to be moving in a sideways direction.

Today is a rare occasion I got to drive in the snow on the A roads before the gritters had come out and before the snow had slushed away to water, was pretty good fun and the car handled it all pretty well.

Had it squirming on acceleration, which to be fair was quite moderate but it always kept itself right. Could kick the back out on roundabouts and sharper turns but I needed to apply "too much" throttle for it to happen. The front soon dragged me into line too.

The local Focus DIY is still abandoned but some bastard bollarded off the carpark

Heathrow better not be bollocksed tomorrow.

I don't mind if my journey is outbound, not inbound like it will be...

Fuel light came on yesterday morning, decided I'd go tonight as I couldn't be bothered stopping. Left work and ended up sat in traffic for ages. Got a clear section and thought I was home free then saw all the lights. A bus had broken down and cars was having to go around. Top of the street I could see the petrol station but cars were going through blocking the junction. A 12min trip ended up taking over 1hr. Drove all the way on fumes I think

People are idiots, go through when lights change to red blocking the way for the filtered traffic who's turn it is to go through. As I was filling up I saw a Bora drive passed with the front end all smashed up. Ironically he was sounding his horn as he manoeuvred the corner!
