BA hasn't been competitive in the European travel market for years, so they don't care.

Am I right in thinking that the UK was the only Major Island in the EU?

I think this is the downfall, the EU rules are all designed around the continental mass of free movement and open borders which works somewhat in that scenario, we are in the unique position of being and island but having an attractive economy and benefits system whilst having to adhere to EU rules designed for one land mass and border system

I still don't understand why are we still caught up in EU migration? Its a non problem.. The benefits out weigh the costs and EU member states are supposed to foot the bill for their citizens medical, pension and welfare costs until they neutralize their citizenship..

Non-EU Migration (mainly the illegal immigrants) now that is an issue but that has NOTHING to do with the EU.

We had a British Empire once upon a time, ruled a fifth of the world and then gave independence to everyone.

Blimey

Protest vote IMHO, The Leave campaign have been able to hijack misplaced feelings of anger and frustration towards the Government. remarkable really how they've managed to get people to blame the EU and immigrants for things the Tories have done.

The next few years are going to be interesting if nothing else, also with a PM we didn't elect

The EU is a troubled organisation, worst economy going. Its not that we blame immigrants. I think the general feeling is that as a country we would be better off looking after ourselves.

There are still the 28 individual countries in existence, we have just left the gang they have formed.

Its like playing football as a kid, we are the kid that owns the ball and have walked off with it to go home for dinner.

Already seeing benefits from leaving the EU, we're getting orders flooding in from abroad ordering equipment due to the weaker pound, win win!

No, we've voted to leave, doesn't mean we have left, yet.

It's not removed but leaving the EU will certainly make it a lot, lot harder than it currently is. The only thing we can hope for is that it'll be easier than trying to get work in countries like the US, which is nie impossible.

You might have well answered with 'potato'
Ellis is right in that it won't exist for us once we leave, which in turn will have a direct 'pocket' impact on those of us who wish to travel within the EU.

Same line as the freedom to work, it'll be certainly harder and likely to be more expensive for those who wish to study and live in EU countries.

Out of the three points you answered, neither are a win-win for leaving. The only valid point you made was with regards to policing our borders but then that has little impact on immigrates/migrates already living the country.

Certainly likely to happen for us; mobile networks will be laughing to the bank.

Low cost European air travel, goodbye.

Depends how you define 'low cost'. I certainly believe they'll be more expensive but probably only marginally.

Bit dramatic don't you think? It's almost as bad as some of the spiel from the 'leavers' in this thread.

Tbh, i'm more peed at the fact that this has given Sturgeon (absolute idiot) all the firepower needed to get another independence referendum going and will most likely succeed because of it

At least there's one positive out of this, there's a good chance to make some money on the screwed up markets

Least of our worries tbh

Although regarding the Euro, there's talk that it could disappear within the next five years. Not sure i can see that happening unless other EU members start having referendums and leave.

Lots of people of Facebook saying they are gutted that we won't be part of Europe anymore we will still be a european country you spastics

Secondly, lots of people wanting to "leave the country" now. Largely to other countries that arent in the EU themselves
