Better than Stallone's effort and uber gory in parts too. Karl Urban actually plays a good Dredd (not that you see much of his face!) but ultimately the setting let it down. The vast majority of the film takes place in a high rise building, a bit more imagination would have made this a good comic book adaptation.
I was thinking they've got potential to do another, they showed you next to nothing of the world it was set in. But I still really enjoyed it!

Django - 9/10
Ace film! Love the way it was set out like a 70s western and added some comedy moments and big named actors.

Saw some films on the plane.
Olympus Has Fallen - not that good, expected more after some of the ratings off here. 6/10
Argo - decent. Ending was a bit cheesy though. I know it's true, I just doubt the closeness to which they came. 7.5/10
Oblivion - felt like the beginning lasted 2hrs and then straight to an ending. Was good though. 7.5/10
The Place Beyond The Pines - one hour of Gosling not saying a lot and looking vacant.... And then it got going. Not bad. 7/10

Worlds End - 6/10.
Too ridiculous for me. Shaun of the Dead is one of my favourite films though, and Hot Fuzz was pretty funny too.
