Have you tried taking the inspection cover off the box and putting both shafts in and seeing where they sit compared to the pin? If they are practically touching the pin then they are in far enough, if you can't pull them out easily then they should be fine it may just be the design of those certain make of cv's.

i have ordered everyone it could be lee, apart from one last set that im ordering tonight. Also i wouldnt want you to scene it up like the tavv...

Jibjob ive taken the diff pan off and all the cv's ive had go in so far they touch the center pin of the diff. But they dont sit flush against the dif oil seal. Have a look a cuple of pages back theres pics of both. Its like there about 60mm too long. So they stick out the box too far and they go in too far. If any of that makes sence? Haha

Very strange the trouble your having with these CV's!, I'd have took an angle grinder to a set by now

Them hoses, what set do you buy when your using an Ecotec pipe? I was looking on their site and theres 2 different sets, powercap and SFI box.

If by ecotec pipe you mean like i have on mine just the solid pipe that sits on the top of the throttle bodie then you get the ones for the powercap mate . They work fine

might look nice man. I wanted orange but once the engine was in with the black box i just loved the look of black on black. So everythings going black with a cuple of polished bits just to liven it up a touch

Jsperformance hoses are boss. Nice and cheap made to the same quality as the roose ones apparently. Havnt had a problem with them yet

Got another cv joint through. Wrong ones again. Gaz came round. Confirmed they were the wrong ones but they will probly work alright neways. So im waiting for payday to order another one from gaz. Trying to hunt down a new starting and charging loom And a 8v radiator but it seems people on corsa sport dont want to sell anything they advertise as they never respond to your u2u's or replies on there threads.
All it needs to get running is the starting charging loom, 8v rad and this other cv joint
Then its interiour work before it comes out to play

Ok updates updates updates
Cv problem sorted (for now)
Starter/chargeing loom sorted
Airbox sorted, had some trouble with that but now

Take 1 ford intake pipe, cut to size and drill for the air temp sensor

Done

And went and picked up my radiator off greggsi tonight, going to fit that on wednesday

To do list now
Buy one more cv joint
Fit hubs and shafts and brakes
Bleed brakes
Fit rad
Fit exhaust
Fill with water
New oil
New oil filter
New sparkplugs
Kick its plums in
then just things like the interiour need doing just to finish it off but it will be up and running next month for sure
Cant wait to get it done now

Engine bay now

Any one know wether this goes on the positive or negative terminal on the starting loom?

Its on the same mini bit of loom that this is on
