Looks crap, tasted lush. Gravy was frikkin amazing, meat melted in mouth, stilton mash was yummy.

Diced pork stew again this weekend.

I think doing the new pots in with the lamb, then roasting them with the parsnips was a good idea, bloody lovely! Kept the gravy for tomorrow, dont know what im having with it, but its too good to bin, so much flavour in there.

Did you know you can just cook a chicken for example without liquid. Just sit it on foil balls so it's raised

Inspired by Kerrys recent suggestion, this is awaiting me this evening when I get home;






Anyone have any suggestions for something with saussages?

I did a recent pork joint which was amazing.
For best results, I think 'shoulder' joints are best for meat, although tend to be quite fatty. The shoulder meats are usually the meats which falls apart really easily.
Going to try a lamb shoulder at the weekend.
