Have you got the SA80A2? As we are British we should all be using it. Go fuck the Americans up, the A2 is such a good piece of kit well ahead of its time when first introduced ok the A1 was useless but h&k worked their magic and now it's envied around the world. Bullpup is the way forward in assault rifle terms.
I saw on Ross Kemps show that one of Marines had an A2 with clear magazine like the Steyr AUG/SIG552/G36/P90

i got the L85A2 and its the best assault rifle by far i have used.
i unlocked the L96 sniper aswell but i dont like it as much as the others

I've hardly played as Assault so I don't really have any assault rifles unlocked! Always play as Engineer cos I can't do without my rockets to take out tanks or blow out the side of a building.

so after about 4 hours i managed to finally kill an enemy vehicle with a repair torch to get the challenge done.
thats been the hardest so far on the challenges

I'm not particularly bothering with these challenge things, I'm just playing the game. Got 44 kills to 16 deaths in one game last night and a score of over 7000

m39emr is my fave so far, but I havn't unlocked the m98b yet.
Also, don't play normal mode, hardcore is where it's at..

none of them are 1 shot one kill unless you headshot them.
for long range shooting the M99b with bipod and 12x scope is the best
i find for running about and shooting either that M40A5 thing or the L96 being best, straight pull bolt for quick reloading.

M98B is the best power wise, get 1 shot kills in the chest playing hc. L96 is more usable, less scope sway but sv98 with a bipod and ballistic scope is good enough if you just want to stay back and pick off other snipers

Still struggling with that - and also it seems to be taking an age for me to get 50 supression assists

change your perk to suppression or squad supression and go out with a shotgun for a few rounds, switch to frag ammo aswell. you'll be done in a couple of games
