i know its difficult to estimate because mortgages are all different? but how much roughly are you paying a month if you got a mortgage for 100k property with 20k deposit? £500 a month?

i mean a nice area of blackpool to be honest once your out of the city centre into the outskirts its a nice place.
its just that most people who go only see the scummy houses immediately surrounding the centre, and the further away you get from there the more prices go up

I'd always thought of Blackpool as a bit scummy until I went recently. There's some cracking houses once you move away from the centre.

I had an office in Blackpool last year, nobody can say Blackpool is "nice" it's as bad as Hull.

Agree with the comments on nice houses on the outskirts though. I was going to rent somewhere and move over as I was traveling from Llandudno daily. Saw some decent places when I looked.

Also not correct to base house prices in the north solely on somewhere like Newcastle... house prices somewhere like the Lake District aren't so clever. There are cheap houses up here, mainly in places like Lancashire but also some expensive areas too like the Lakes!

Nah, the new-ish industrial estate, just passed B&Q as you come off the motoway. (The Office)

Was looking within 2 miles from there when I searched IIRC. Dirt cheap.
