Newcastle better be quick in signing a replacement. Cabaye will be a great loss to them.
bring forward cabella, surely?
Would be a cracking signing, but he's more of an attacking mid than Cabaye. Which might not be a bad thing seeing as he will have Tiote and Anita behind him!
Cabaye has been playing the No. 10 role the past few weeks to great effect so this wouldn't be a bad thing however Cabaye offers far more in defence than Cabella from what I've seen of him and if Tiote or Anita were to get injured it would leave is dangerously short in the centre of the park.

I hope his spell in Germany has simply been a blip as his record in Holland has great, really cant be any worse than Cisse mind you.

Will Cisse go if you bring in De Jong? Seems you're short up front with Remy only on loan and Cisse/Cabaye going out of the club?

I think they'll make Remy's deal permanent. They'd be stupid not to really.
Aye de Jong didn't light up the Bundesliga, but he's still young. Probably get him for less than the 12 million he cost the Germans due to his fall out of favour with the coach.

Everything I've seen on De Jong suggests a fee of around £8.5M which seem a hell of a gamble on a Striker that hasn't started a game since last April.
Think Cisse will stay until the end of the season but after that he's gone he's been totally ineffective over a year now.
With regards Remy I think it's unlikely he'll sign given some of his recent comments and apparent wage demands, would like to be proved wrong though as he would be a welcomed permanent addition to the squad

id be very surprised if he didnt go to a big club tbh, though depends on the whole rape thing... is that still going on? Think Wenger would have signed him by now if not for that.

Other than Arsenal and maybe Spurs I couldn't see Remy going anywhere else in Premier League. Not sure what is happening with regards his Rape case, last I heard his bail had been extended until late November last year but have seen nothing in the press since.

Told you lot this back on page 12. I've got a conference call with a few top agents later who apparently has some exciting news for me

With Andres Ter Stegen refusing to renew his contract, why the fuck are teams like Arsenal not moving heaven and earth to bring him in? Yet another outstanding German goalie.

The only way that szcz can be mentioned in the same sentence is because they both wear gloves If a quality player can be had, surely you take the opportunity?

actually, on GKs... anyone else think Chelsea would be insane to swap Courtois for Diego Costa? Maybe agree to another years loan as part of the fee (as Cech still seems decent) but on a permanent deal, crazy!

YES. Although Jose confirmed Courtois is coming back in the summer anyway.

Gutted he is going but it was inevitable. Blanc has been licking his bum hole ages now. Replacement won't happen in Jan imo.
Although Cabaye will be a massive loss it might mean Ben Arfa can step up and do a job there. Although defensively he no where cabaye. Also need players like marveaux to come back into contention.
Interested to see how sir alan sets up tonight if gouffran is injured.
Unsure on De Jong but it's only a loan to the end of season which is better than buying him now
