Just played a freeroll on PKR for the first time in months. No luck whatsoever. My best hand was pocket 5's and they got me nowhere, didn't win a single hand and I only played 7.
Came 568th outta 1030 ppls.

Just went deepish in a couple of freerolls.
Finished in the top 300 last night and just finished 193rd outta 1299. GRR...

where do you need to place to win any money? and how long does the tournement last? been meaning to do one on pokerstars but never got round to it.

You gotta place high lol, I think it depends on how many enter. And tournaments can last aaaaaaaages if people wanna slowplay. All depends on the players.

Yeah, but it depends on how many have entered. If the number entered is low then paid places will be top 10 or 12 or what ever.

You'd be better off doing the sit'n'go tournaments as I find the bigger tournaments off putting (if your new to poker that is).

am not new to poker i play in a live poker league and i play sit 'n' go's online and i would consider myself a resonably good poker player. have one the league i am in twice.

I'd put aside 2-3 hours easily, but like I said it all depends on how many players and the speed they go out.

They last as long as you're in them so could be 3 hours if you do well. I once came 24th and was in for about 2 hours 30.

Freeroll so no buy in and minimum cash is usually 70 - 85c.
Whoever wins get $90 - 100.
When I came 24th, I think I won about $2, sumit like that.

GRR... just busted out on the bubble of a 10 handed SnG in 4th.
The top 3 were clearly working together, the all ins and folds were timed perfectly to stop one of them being blinded.
