probably. a sive said before, id have been disappointed if he signed but not because hes no good...
we either need to sign an older experienced Lehmann/VDS type keeper (ie Cesar) to hold the fort for a few years whilst Szcz matures and improves OR we need to sign a young-ish top top class keeper and for me, the only suitable candidate is rene adler (amazing keeper and available for less than Liverpool spent on Mig, tho no doubt higher wages, due to hamburgs financial difficulties). We may still get him if we sell them Djourou as they seem keen on, but i think Cesar is nailed on when he returns from CC
I actually heard a rumour that we were going in for cesar to replace mignolet

Danny Simpson to QPR. I did like him and that's a good free signing.

I said he'd be signing the second Moyes took over anyway. Lazy journalism.

I dunno, isnt he 28 with 2 years left ion his contract? Its not a bad starting price for a defender. Cant see anyoine paying any more than £15m?

I wouldn't want to pay more than £15m for him either. Start at 10, end up 15 sounds quite likely.

If, i think they could play hardbvall. if someone (be it us, chels or an other) activates fellainis supposed release clause then they may not want to lose their 2 best players. that said, £35-40m would let them strengthen no end!

They'd never get him for £10m though, so seems pointless, its not like they need to unsettle him, this transfer has been on since Moyes was appointed. £15m is about right.

they dont need to be tight and he doesnt need to be a cunt with funds for a club he knows will probably struggle now

he has nothign to do with the process though. he tells the board etc. who he wants and they do it for him, modern managers arent involved in transfer negotiations other than to say how much theyw ant someone

1 of my mates from work is a everton fan and he told me about baines and said he wasnt worth anything less than 15mil not sure if i agree but i'm confused as to man utd would want baines i mean they have evra and buttner both are fairly good left backs so if baines comes in is moyles going to let 1 of them go?

I follow a chap called Wayne Veysey on Twitter (works for Goal.com amongst other things).
Usually is pretty much spot on ahead of the game!
Just tweeted David Villa to Spurs looks positive!
I'm so excited by the prospect of Paulinho & David Villa joining

no. wayne veysey is the single biggest bullshit merchant on twitter he rips off inumerate numbers of other peoples articles without credting anyone. any chance correct predictions are as a result of stealing others work.
i would still be surprised if villa joined spurs, can still cut it at the CL level and i think he'll go to a CL club. id still rather swap gervinho for david villa rather than clement grenier but seems wenger is not so keen now
