Turbo

7/10 - pretty good actually. Although he has an unfair advantage being able to go underneath his opponents.

Totally agree pal, visually, cant deny its pretty sweet and the 3D actually adds to the film but jesus h christ what a piss poor "story". Definitely their goal was to push what was possible with 3D and CGI but i think they forgot to actually make a film out of it

The script was awful and there was little or no time to empathise with the characters really knowing so little about them. I think it was extremely interesting and I am glad I saw it. Just wouldn't call it great.

Gravity - 8.5/10 - If you enjoyed Cast Away then you'll enjoy Gravity, more so for Cuaron's direction to make the film realistic (lack of sound effects for external shots etc) and immerse you into the environment which you don't get from your typical space action blockbuster.
Visually it's fantastic, soundtrack is brilliant although i think the storyline could have continued a bit more rather than leaving it how it ended - reminded me of Revolver a little.
Main downer was seeing it in 'realD' - whilst it added a bit to the action scenes, polarised 3D is fucking shit and i suffered the usual issues of a dark image and blurriness.

Otherwise, well worth a watch, especially for Bullock

Edit - For anyone interesting the 'behind the scenes' then have a look HERE and HERE.

I finally got round to watching Django the other night. I watched it in a room where there were cunts getting ready to go out and missed bits of dialogue but managed to follow the story. Even with that in mind I didn't enjoy it as much as I'd have liked to. I felt that it wasn't enough about the title character to the point that the title itself didn't really make sense. In my opinion Schultz was a bigger character. 7/10

No way can you compare it to castaway! Castaway is so powerful with the characters and how you bond with them. Gravity just didn't put that across at all. Kind of needed a beginning or middle part to bond with them maybe back on earth. I guess they where going with total immersion but that was its brilliance and major flaw IMO

Gravity - 7/10 but I'm not really sure why. It was good, the effect of weightlessness was done well imo. On the other hand, although I know it was done for effect, it felt like it dragged on a bit.

3D is still crap, don't think it added anything other than a couple of floaty bits. Higher resolution definitely trumps 3D for me.

The Paranormal Diaries Clophill.
Wasn't bad, mainly watched it since I'm from the Clophill area and have always been interested in the ruined church.
