Yeah, Alex, Ive tonight ordered some black exhaust heat wrap, but spoke to brothers mate who had his Evo mani coated by a company near my brother, so enquired about getting it ceramic coated black (and open myself to endless flaming because its not worth it).

Also, when I fit the mani ill be removing the SAI and having a tidy up in the bay.
Tempted by getting the rest of my exhaust done in stainless too.
So its going to be hidden away for a couple of months at least.

I think you should wrap it,my mate painted his and it all burnt off and stunk. That was high temp paint though I think :/

High temp paint is shit, if anything you would want BBQ paint (What I used, has lasted months).

Coating is very very different though.

I'm not really a fan of wrapping for looks.

I wont be painting it, it will either be wrapped in the heat wrap I ordered, or if this company come back to me with a relatively reasonable price for ceramic coating, that will be the main choice

From looking at pics, i think i prefer the wrapped look (because lets face it, its only going to have a realistic change on the looks and preservation).
