It was a nightmare to tighten the bottom 4 bolts on this one, no room what so ever. I ended up doing it on the ramp in work.

I won't be doing the conversion anyway so I'll let the guys at trac prep do it when the car goes there

205 gti's a very good cars though, I prefer the 106 but that is pretty obvious, a 205 is just as good though, throw some cash at them and they are amazing cars

I've had an S1 106 Rallye before which is why i have a massive soft spot for them, reading through this isnt helping my decision. Top work, looks a lovely wee car

Its piss easy to put the manifold on during the conversion, as the front end is off. Its once everything is built back up, I had the standard manifold for about 3 days, then got the 4 branch, nightmare when everything is in place.

Fitted the gearknob today. I cut about 1 inch off the threads of the gear stick and put some concrete like bond into the threads of the gearknob and left it to dry for about 10 minutes. I heated the gear stick up then just banged it on over the threads, solid as a rock now and it looks loads better, feels better too.

Nope, nothing was open. The sound quality is bad as I had the camera wedged inbetween the head rest and seat so it was covering the microphone.

hit a pothole too hard and it just popped out of one of the holes in the bottom crossmember, and the two clips holding it on popped off
one clip was stil there so one side is proper, the bottle side is tied up with bailing twine lol
