This car is awesome! Pretty much exactly as I wanted my corsa to be like until I broke it! However.. Would love to see a irmy airdam or pov spec front bumper on it, never been a fan of that splitter. ( sorry!) looks to be going great on track though and that's all that really matters! Nice to see my old morettes going strong still!

Someone in the garage section we was using laughed at your corsa and said it had no place on the track... I shot h down so hard he didnt know what hit him. Then you went and posted a 1st in qual and i was able to give him the smuggest look ever, so i thank you for that.

Dont beat yourself up too much about the final, best thing to do is get out and find a quicker car than you (but not too much) and let them tow you round, you will be supprised how effective it is as you tend to push past your normal limits.

Haha glad to hear that mate, that's what its all about though noone expects the pace my little corsa has im just out there proving it and having a great time along the way

Good stuff

You were only 5 secs behind Fee (only 5 is quite good at croft due to nature of the track... i.e. she was 12-13secs behind RCM )

Not bad atall really no. To scrub something like 5 seconds off my lap times im going to need a turbo bolting on

aye..

I managed a 1:35 at croft after 12 laps (then fucked a wheel bearing ) - 400bhp Impreza

Did a 1:35 then next day and snapped a rod on the next faster lap

Fee should have really been doing 1:30-1:32's but she is well down on power compared to those bonkers EVOs in her class

It infuriated me, time attack to me is about modified road cars not custom built race cars, in my opinion its the bigger cars which shouldnt be here not cars like neils, the civic etc.

Right quick 1 then as were just about to leave for Snetterton

After the last round she went back in the garage and up in the air for maintence



We changed oil and filter again, and decided to change gear oil for fresh aswell



Fitted new Gearbox diff gasket while we were at it



Another nice new set of R888's



And then finally today gave it a nice clean ready to load up

Another cracking day in the corsa, car was faultless and I drove it hard as always

We arrived at Snetterton on the sat before the event to get set up, scruitineered etc



Ended up being in an all Vauxhall garage which was nice along with the 2 astra vxr's and the baby blue vx220



For the website they lined all the cars up for pics at this event, the corsa looks tiny compared to the big bhp machines of time attack lol







Heres a couple of the best pics from the pros on the day (note the civic behind my main competitor)





Despite me having a great few laps in the final, pushing and pushing all I could achieve was 2nd in class behind the Civic mugen type R, straights proving to long for my lack of bhp. Never the less still really happy with the result, had a fantastic day.

Bit of an update then as its been a while.

First of all i decided to take the corsa along to billing, stuck the trade plates on it and drove it there and back which was pretty cool
Thanks to the guys that allowed me on the Corsasport stand



My bro also took his saloon with his newly painted bay and x16xe in it



And than it was onto Round 4 of time attack at oulton park.











The corsa was flying at Oulton i really loved the circuit, but the best i could do was 3rd, the other 2 lads were local to the track and being my first visit i had alot to learn lol.



And the champagne showers



And today ive been drifting in the S14, smoked my way through 14 rear tires lol
