Was always going to be free if you had the sky sports 1 and 2 or the HD package.

Wrong, I followed the sky f1 deal quite obsessively and since the very day they announced the f1 dedicated channel it was free to HD and/or sports customers.

I never ever read of C5's involvement, but that's not to say it never happened. If they did match the offer, it would never have gone to sky... Bernie cares about only cash and to gain the same rates while maintaining free to air broadcasting would have won hands down.

Sky got it because nobody else could, or wanted to afford it.

that doesn't mean it isn't very good though - just means it needs a good driver ie Alonso to make the most of it

Your argument would suggest Di-Resta wouldn't be able to do that

[Edited on 15-05-2012 by whitter45]

What argument? I merely stated it would be a shitter for him to have to go from a good car to a dog.

I can also confirm this is true because we have always received the channel but only have the HD pack and entertainment package or whatever they call it.

10 place grid penalty. Evidently the stewards deem that trying to possibly kill someone isn't as bad as not having enough fuel to get back to the pits after quali Bunch of muppets

Plus Schumacher did the same thing to Lewis two weeks ago, why doesn't he have 10 places for that was well as his 5? There's not a lot of consistency really - as far as I'm aware Schumacher got away for barging in front of Lewis using a run out lane and slamming the brakes on when he got in front.

i can't believe he got away with that.

that's the first time i've seen/heard about it. seems to have been swept under the carpet because it's michael schumacher.

Yup, didn't realise that's what went on until I saw the BBC play it out on today's show. Absolutely disgraceful driving.

Sky have been honking about it last two weeks, I think books would have been thrown if there was contact...and maybe tey came down a bit heavier than tey already would after the Senna crash in the race.

This is why i don't get the whole currant love in with Schumacher. He's the same cunt i hated from back in the 90s.

Be so funny if his come back results in zero wins

Yeah if there was contact he'd have been fucked for it. I also agree schuey is as much of a cunt as he's ever been, still thinks the rules don't apply and he can do what he wants
