Yeah, it was ideal really...

As has been said by others, I'd prefer not a city track.

Don't forget there is grand valley full lap.

No I didn't, what happens is after the race Chris rolls a dice and the person that finished in the position that relates to whatever number it lands on gets to choose the next track.

About lap 35, i decided to let the dog out while in the pits.

As i let him out there was a cat by the door. The dog decided to go off barking like mad chasing it round the garden, so i had to run in the soaking wet grass to grab hold of him.

Totally fucked up my race. Caused a massive row with the missus, and wasted a weeks worth of practise!

Im over it now

Cheers Dave. It's sort of reading what settings you use and then played about myself. I know they look even better on a big tele. In regards to the reflection I didn't even realise till I looked a bit closer showing our Maud with great delight at what I'd done lol

all sunday races are the MX5, but you are more than welcome to get a race going of your own anyday you want I'll help you set one up if you need a hand.

If nobody wants to race MX5's anymore than yea we can change but as far as im aware people are just starting to get comfortuble using them now and getting into the cars.

one of the reasons i think that the race was enjoyable for the majority is they are starting to learn how each other drives, you start to learn their habbits, pitting early or leaving it late to pit etc.. mike had a good mouthful of this on sunday, he wanted paul to pit but i knew (as ive races with paul alot) that he wouldnt pit unless mike pitted first. I had already thought that this was going to happen so all i did was concentrate for 3rd place.

of cause you dont have to be in the same car to experience this but using the same car means you start to get comfortuble driving it.. Take yourself for example when you did that first race you wasnt exactly the best, but we have had another race now and you have got used to the car a bit more and you are starting to learn how we all drive. I noticed you moving over for me alot more than you did at Monaco.

All in all your driving/racing has improved considerably from the first race.

Well said Chris, the Mx5 races are very enjoyable and there are a lot of close battles going on between different groups of us. I'd like to keep racing them for a few more weeks at least, as were all getting into how the car reacts and how other people drive .. plus i've got 3 of them all with different suspension/gearing set ups haha

yea you make a good point, although there are obviously different standards of driver we all have our own little personal battles, for me... paul, mike, ryan and jamie usually put up a good fight for me.. but for someone else maybe they are a bit too quick for them but there will be another 2-3 people who will also be racing in their little group.

this is the kind of thing i tried to explain when it was still an idea in my mind, but its hard to explain in words how it really happens. You just start to get a feeling for those immediatly within your driving ability and racing for 1st place no longer becomes your goal. I think everyone has pretty much got (those who have raced most of the races) an idea of who they want to beat and where they would be happy coming at the end.

Take Ant for example, he started off not too good, forever in the pits and to him his first race was probably shit really, but he stuck with it and now in his 2nd race he was happy that he only had to pit four times (i pitted three times!). obvisouly the track had somethings to do with that but you can see how he is improving each time he races. Ive got to admit tho, hes normally the one who is practicing the most when i create a lobby so its well deserved on his part. so up from me mate

And the view in bumpercam and even in cockpit cam is quite hard to see people left and right of you resulting in bumping and crashing into people without even seeing them.
