American Hustle - 8/10. Quite a slow film but you don't want to miss a second of it.

Lone Survivor

Oh my fucking god....what a film!

Based on a true story about a navy seal mission going tits up. Kinda has a Bravo Two Zero feel too it.

Amazing sounds and camera work. You can feel the pain of the actors so much.

A must watch on the big screen for anyone interested in conflict/war related films.

Edit - literally just got in from watching it.

I thought it was shit.. I could pick holes in the film for hours..

Why didnt they look at a tapography map so they knew they were in a valley and wouldnt get signal for extraction

Who gets shot from a 7.62 multiple times and carrys on walking

Using acog scope in cqc when they had reflex sights on top

Jumping head first off of rocks and surviving

Why on gods earth when he climbed up on that rock did he not just use a smoke grenade which was on his chest..

I could go on... Basically they tried to dramatise it too much.. According to the book the fight in the town at the end never even happened..

Yes I must admit that parts were farfetched. I questions how they got shot so much and carried on walking

Have you ever seen a 7.62 wound?

Entry hole like a 50p exit hole like a melon. I actually lolled when that dude got shot in the belly..

They could be ak74's (they looked and sounded like 47's tho) which use 5.45 rounds which would be more believeable but still laughable. , just looked at the book and that confims 47's.

I love true storys but ive no idea why they have to dramatise it to such an extent.

It'd be a documentary otherwise, they have to make films entertaining for the masses, not just those who know the exact entry and exit wound sizes of of a bullet wound

DOA. 7/10 THE worst film I've ever seen but so many fit women fighting in bikinis and next to nothing. Oh, and Holly Valance was looking very hot in it!

Argo - 7/10 enjoyed it, will have a look at how close to the real story now.

I seen after earth was on movies but the bad reviews put me off even watching.
