Non-Stop - 9/10.

Apart from the American cheesefestness of it, one of the best 'Guess Who' films I've seen in a long time. Hour and a half or whatever it was flew in. Pardon the pun.

The Great Gatsby - 7/10

Bit of a slow starter and I was worried Luhrmann's extravagance would render the film unwatchable, but dare I say it - Better than the book. I found the book to be a real let down considering it is considered an all time classic and was left wondering what all the fuss was about. Gatsby's character came across a lot better in the film and his tragic life was more apparent. I still think the base story is somewhat lacking, but a decent enough adaptation.

Gravity 8/10 - when I first saw the trailer I couldn't see it working. Sandra bullock and George clooney as astronoughts just didn't sound right. Fair play to them they were both great! There were a few bits that weren't believable but it's a movie so it needs to be entertaining.

12 years a slave - 7/10.

The story is obviously good because its true. The film itself though not so good. Dragged on a bit and certainly doesn't deserve the praise it gets. The best supporting actress oflr whatever she won, not bad for about 3 lines.

The Hangover III - 5/10

Meh. Couple of funny bits but storyline was thread bare and I think they should have left it at 2.

Need for Speed 8/10 - Better than F&F for car scenes especially as no CGi is used, no need for 3D though
