Plus the powder coating was not that expensive. The wheels have been done at the usual rate of £35/wheel and the other parts have been put in with another job to keep costs down.

Remember we are painting the underside of the car a very bright colour. A colour which will contrast very nicely with black. You'll see. I did my shocks red if that helps?

Na, I was cleaning horse poo off the bottom of the car. Your springs have been sent off with my wheels to be powder coated. Much better than paint as it doesn't chip so easily!

Tom came over this morning to spray the colour onto the belly, the arches and the engine bay of the car. It looks fantastic, it's not every day that you see a car is such immaculate condition. I really can't wait to get all the bits back from the powder coaters as everything will effectively look brand new under the car, which I think is a good achievment considering as the car has done 90,000 miles and is a 1994 model.

Here are the pics:

I have been making Tom masks out of bitsw of random plastic recently, but he still ended up with a painted face today!

Here is the finished article...

Anyway, time for a break on the car now. I ned to go and earn some money to fund this project and go and learn how to program CNC machines for a few days. I will pick up at the weekend and get to work on the interior of the car....

Ok, I'll stop messing about. I'm going to wait until the car is back together before showing everyone what it looks like so you all get the full effect...
