car is running spot on now! papa steve took it for a spin after the cat was fitted and said it was a slight misfire.. dont know why he didnt just take it out before paying for a new cat! aha, put the old spark plugs back in and its fine now. how he could tell from just driving it once i dont know i didnt have a clue what was happening and i drove it like that for the past few days

took the car to a buddy who had the use of college equipment, he wacked the diagnostic machine on it to see why the engine light is on, turns out its the EGR valve (P1405) and the O2 sensor (P0130) car is performing well so hopefully once these two things are sorted it will not need any work doing on the engine for a while, will have the time to recalibrate the power steering and look at why my driveshafts are knocking again!

He did look a little rough but im not arsed! haha, all part of the fun isnt it

well thought i would just do a quick update about the car, car has been playing up since before PVS, struggling to start and when it did it was misfiring. yesterday car wouldnt start for agers, my dad eventually got it started but noticed the engine block behind the exhaust manifold was soaking wet, obviously we thought things were not right but we had to go out so drove to my nains. after that the car struggled to start again and it had left a large wet patch where it was sat, white smoke out of the exhaust and gunk in the oil so showing all the symtoms. on way home car lost power and started to sound like a harley davidson chopper haha, just about made it home and now its back on the other side of the garden.

after a lot of arguments my dad has decided he is going to fix it, once its fixed we will be selling it after i have taken all my bits off and put it back to standard.

i have also be told i am never alloud to bring a vauxhall home never mind a corsa

since the head gasket went on the corsa its been pushed up to the corner of the garden and not been touched since it will be getting fixed soon but im actually not to sure if I will be keeping it or getting rid of it yet :/ bought a clio about a week ago to get about in so thought I would put some pics up on here of it

clio will be kept standard, my dad will be sorting some body work out on it and i will be sourcing some plastic trim bits for inside

faded headlights came up well after attacking them with tooth paste and t cut

rear quarter had a bad dent which had damaged the paintwork, knocked as much as we could out then my dad filled it


rear bumper had some deep scratched and a hole where the line is



havnt got any pictures of the bumper or rear quarter sprayed yet as my laptop and my phone have both broken but will get some up as soon as I can
