Cranks are always a bugger to get off, use a crank pulling tool and they come off easier.

its the good thing about living in carlisle, there is stuff to ride every direction. been doing a few of the lakes rides lately, which sometimes involve a mile or so of hike a bike up a mountain. worth it though. definitely taken over from cars, as i guess the last 12 months of this thread has shown.

hopefully get the bottom bracket out tomorrow night so i can go get a new one on thursday.

BMW is back and fixed, looks great! Mot repairs done and it's in for test today at work. New bottom bracket in the bike last night as well so ready for a weekends push biking. Might even take the corsa on a run out tomorrow as it needs a dyno run really.

broke my bike today, well the forks anyway. hardly move like 20mm travel instead of 120mm. so to keep me going a mate has let me borrow his spare 140mm rock shox forks, which being a 20mm bolt through, meant i had to borrow a spare wheel off him also. its changed the head angle, which should make it nicer to ride on the descents. find out on thursday night or the weekend anyway.

can even see my fixed and mot'd bmw in the last pic.

in regards to the job situation, I have my notice written out, ready to hand in tomorrow. manager wants a word with me in the morning not really sure what they can offer me that can match the earnings i could get at the other job though.

Good luck in your meeting...

I get the impression with all the changes you have went through lately, a new challenge would be right up your alley

Allegedly they are the shock of the moment the newer ones. The ones I am borrowing are a couple of years old. Hoping it makes the bike feel better.

Last set I rode was about 2 years ago, not sure if they are the new ones or old ones or what but they were a bloody nice fork. Very comfortable with a nice adjustment range to them.

added an aux cable, and routed it into the centre console so i can connect up my iPhone

can now listen to north side and other 90s indie bands without burning 10 cds a week.

Been doing a bit of thinking lately and with me getting a van in the next month or so, it's time i thought about selling the corsa or breaking it for bits.

Expected it. Can see why, and pointless selling as whole
