Thought I'd post a few pics of the stuff ive been doing to the car in preparation for PVS

Always wanted a set of wind deflectors so decided it was about time I bought some! Went for the proper GM ones, love them.

My old windscreen wipers were a bit beyond it so I decided to go for some more modern looking flat blade ones. So much better!

Inspired by Wilson's Nova and Mk4_boy's Corsa (happy now ) I decided to paint my rear inner arches white for that super clean look

When washing to car today I noticed both rear quarters are parts of the doors are covered in over spray from where the car wasnt masked up enough Cant believe I've only just spotted it! So will be phoning the sprayer to get it all removed asap

Cheers for looking

Spot on matey

How much overspray is there? TBH a clay bar should rid most of it, and I don't know how often you clay your car, but may be worth just doing the whole car and then concentrating on the rear quarters...

Thanks a lot everyone

Rich, yeah mate the overspray is pretty bad as it covers large areas on both sides I clayed the full car around a month ago. I'll give it a good wash tommorrow and clay it again to see if that does the trick. Thanks a lot for your advice.

Jay, the inner arches were done with hammerite

FAZ, got a few more plans for the interior yeah. MFD, post 97 airbag steering wheel and replace the last couple of grey plastic bits for black ones

Cant wait for PVS now!

Copied me with the arches too Only joking.
Shaun this is looking stunning now. With some simple engine dressings and general clean up, I can see this becoming a Mag feature. Easy money. Maybe consider getting that 3 pot cleaned up and dressed up and then getting onto Total Vauxhall? If you ever want any help with the engine bay, give me a text and pop over I've got all sorts of stuff that you may like.

Dean, cheers for letting me know will probably be in touch after pay day lol.

Jay, Thanks dude! to get it magazine featured really would be the dream come true Im a bit reluctant to spent money on the 12v though as its not going to be in there much longer

swill_omnibus, engine conversion is the next thing on the cards! Just trying to decide what conversion to go for Keep changing my mind lol. Has to be something insurance friendly though. Therefore its not going to be a redtop or similar.

At the moment im thinking about a 1.4 SRI 8v lump. Reason im thinking about this engine is because I can pick up half decent corsa SRI quite cheap. By buying a whole car I will have everything I'd need to fit it into mine.

Its a nice and easy engine for me to work on and will be pretty nippy so I can have some fun in it Engine will be rebuilt along with all silicone hoses, dressed engine bay etc. Just on the look out for a donor car at the minute
