Adebayor has said that several times hs have the club but doesnt stop you barking on about him goign to AC 
IMO you guys can't afford Villa without some serious offloading (asusmign you want to sign others as well)

Agreed aswell, but considering we are selling...Crouch for around £10m, Riise for around £4m and Carson for around £6m - so thats £20m and thats just the big 3 and not including Pennant, Alonso, Guthrie, Finnan and a load of youngsters.
Plus its said we have atleast £20m as fund before sales - so makes £40m+ easy

Football transfers is the only case where this saying is meaningless "Wait till you hear it from the horses mouth". Money talks,it has with Big Phil, and it will with whoever Chelsea/AC Milan want, if Liverpool want Villa and they throw the bucks around, Villa is going to Liverpool and that's that.

Plus if he is going to move to England where is he going to go...somewhere where we have a Spanish manager who has tried to sign him twice already and 4 other national team mates, or to a french kiddy fiddler at Arsenal or a hated and team full of knobs at Chavski.

Riise would be a great buyfora team like Aston Villa or Man City. Not sure about Crouch, he scores with a big four midfield, would he score with a lesser club? I can't see why they'd sell Pennant though, he rarely has a bad game.

Crouch should be gone by next weekend for around £10m if reports are to be true. And we've already accepted £4m from Roma with Newcastle and Villa also sniffing about. Guthrie has already been subject to a £1.5m bid from Pompy too and Megson has come out and said he is wanting to take him full time to the Reebok. The rest of them shouldnt be big jobs to shift, as we arent asking silly money for them like some teams - £4m for Pennant, £6m for Carson, £2m for Finnan, etc.
