when i get to the ring though il probably put a cable tie on it aswell just incase it comes off

has anyone come up with a solution to combat the "popping" in and out of sound, mine keeps altering its volume as you can hear in the vid

im assuming its due to the wind brushing against it, might take the sound from the rear footage and overlay it on the front if it sounds decent

Could try that, just have another camera in the same place but facing backwards.

i like the idea of taking sound from footage from the rear then you might get some exhaust note in there

Has anybody filmed anything over 30 minutes yet?

I filmed my journey to work this morning, it was 45 minutes but the camera cut it in two, the first movie being 29 minutes 29 seconds. I was just wondering if there's a way of getting over this apparent 30 minute limit?

I know it's not a massive problem, as the files can just be joined afterwards, but just curious.

FAT32 can hold files a maximum of 4GB, this is where the limit comes from, there's nothing you can do to overcome it, some cameras stop then start again automatically.
