only since half 5? Thats not good enough! Should have it back on the wheels and running by now and MOT'D!
oh and I agree with shaun
I was nearly in the middle of the street doing a dance when the holes for the bolts lined up
lol, maybe if Alex was here with me it'd be running by now, in fact, it would have been running months ago no doubt if he lived near by

Hahaha I am glad Alex agrees with me, although, if we all lived near by I think the pub would be the place to be right now, not in the street dancing Jamie ahaha

Got quite a bit done today , started with my mirrors, the silver ones I got 1 was manual and one was electric. I wanted both to be electric so swapped the shells round.

Split the mirror from the base plate,

Removed the wiring and strap then popped the cover off

Then to remove the shell I used a questionable choice off tools to remove it , barbecue tong things and a hacksaw blade , slipped them down the sides and pulled the cover off.

Done the same with the silver one, seen that the base plates were identical so didn't swap them over.

Slipped the shell off the mirror and fitted it to the eleccy one and put them back together. Voila, now have a pair of electric mirrors

Thanks to Ian for the guide
Fitted the new clocks

Took the sump off and cleaned it all up, will re-fit it at the weekend along with a new gasket.

Cleaned out the oil pick up,

Fitted the engine loom, just got a couple of plugs left to sort that I'm not too sure where they go but most of them are in

And routed it into the footwell

Use a 20NE/20SEH sump gasket/baffle and shortened bolts.
Will stop the usual sump leaks.

I was going to that mate but I didn't know about it until I had already bought the gasket, so I'll try this first, if it leaks then I'll change it.
Forgot to mention that I found a 10mm socket in the sump
