Wow they look pretty solid.

Always get a bit worried when getting cars dipped or blasted.

Wish my viva was in that shape.

right engine bay and back end are now completly bare of all clips, wires etc, just gotta take heater mech from front end to pull wires through and then i can get in on a trolley, soak and pressure wash (business use of hose pipe )the underside and then get prepping, sealing and shoot some colour on the underside and bay

Love it just wish it had aux/iPod connection

Got the 77MP (although lost one of the knobs when the facia was in my pocket ) as well and ended up using the AUX on the headunit - used one of THESE and made an iPOD RCA LOD cable like THIS (although you could use something like THIS; you'd need to hunt out one for iPhone 4/4S, iPad 2 etc).
There's also THIS, which essentially does the same.

Obviously there's no control functionality like you'd get with using the CD-IB100 but from what i've read, navigation is a pain in the rear when using it with the 77MP (apparently the CD-IB100 is better on other headunits).

Edit - didn't read you already bought one of the AUX leads; be interesting to hear if the charging works on it.

Guessing you've switched on the AUX input on the headunit*? You won't be able to select AUX without doing it.

Otherwise it'll be an 'accessory' issue with the iPhone where the phone doesn't detect the correct resistance on X and Y pins (differs between accessory) of the dock connector (from what i know, this is how 'i' devices detect which accessory is plugged in) and doesn't 'switch the outputs on'. It'll no doubt work if you use an iPod Classic or an older 4/5G iPod.

The Porka is look good though

*Switch the car to Acc/On, switch off the headunit, hold the function "func" button for 10secs and you'll enter the 'setup' menu. Scroll through it 'til you see AUX and switch it ON. Then switch the headunit on and you'll have access to the AUX input when you cycle through the sources.
