reconditioned head arrived the other day, so everything is like new pic shows it with the painted inlet
£100 don't get you much these days
headgasket set, chain tensioner and headbolts
luckily my mother doesn't get to bothered with the house looking like this haha
starting to put everything back together now with all the new gaskets etc
so thats just a quick update but other than that we have just been treating any rust we can find in the engine bay making sure we get to all the places we couldn't with the full engine in, cant wait to see how it looks when its all back together.

Still not 100% on what im going to do with the corsa, bought some steinmetz side skirts off shadyche though, cant help spending money on it may get back in the corsa if my insurance isn't any more expensive on it compared to the Clio. Don't want to sell the corsa because in nit going to get very much for it, would like a new car pretty soon but i need to get rid of both the Clio and corsa before i can get a new one -.-

Thanks Dan! Haven't been making much progress with it lately though, been pretty busy with uni and work plus I can't find the motivation to finish the skirts or fit the rear springs and shocks just so it will look pretty on the drive aha, shadyche has given me some mudflaps too so they will tie in nicely with the 206 splitter on my back bumper going to see two corsa c's this week, saw one last week but it needed a bit of work so left it, looking for a c with good bodywork is pretty hard aha. But hopefully I will have a nice new car soon enough, can finish off doing a few jobs on the Clio and make some Pennies on that then

Cheers all, really appreciate the good comments, put a lot of money, time and effort into this car so its nice to know its paid off. unfortunately I have purchased a new car which means a decision will have to be made about keeping the corsa or getting rid, luckily the clio is going as part ex which saves me the hassle of having to sell that piece of shit. picking the new car up Monday or Tuesday so I will get some pics up for you all as soon as I can
